OLD DPS ANALYSIS

I used Photoshop to edit this chosen shot for my DPS. I decided to go for a 'laid back' shot to give comfort to the viewers and to subvert from a normal pop DPS.






However, the saturation and the colour from the first screenshot was too into the 'grey' scale so I added a 'pinkish' filter and a warm saturation to create a 'girlish' vibe to match the Pop genre.

I then added the texts that I didn't originally plan - colour wise. I used the colour fuchsia for the interviewer's questions and  a very lightish-pink/white for the celebrity speaker, which is longer than the question to emphasize on the importance of the celebrity. I have also added the masthead which spells 'Paloma'. I am still sceptical about this as I am not yet pleased with the outcome.

I finally added the quote which is inserted from the interview itself. I set it out so it is in line with my model's head. I linked the colour of my pulled out quote with her neck colour as it gave a nice pink outcome.
